How can I register for the tournament?
You can register through the official tournament website or via the organizing entity. Please make sure to complete all the required information before the registration deadline.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, there is a registration fee that varies depending on the category. The details of the fees and payment methods will be announced through the tournament’s official channels.
What is the knockout system?
The knockout system means that the team that loses a match is immediately eliminated from the tournament, while the winner advances to the next round until reaching the final.
What are the available categories in the tournament?
The tournament is open to all categories and includes the following:
- Professionals
- Amateurs
- Specific age groups (e.g., Under 18, Over 40) depending on the number of participants
- Men – Women – Junior
Where will the tournament take place?
The tournament will be held at courts dedicated to padel sports, and the exact location will be announced as the tournament date approaches.
How many players are there in each team?
Padel matches are played in a doubles format (2 vs 2), so each team consists of two players.
What is the duration of the match?
The duration of the match depends on the players’ level and the progress of the sets. Matches are played in a Best of 3 Sets format.
What happens in case of a tie in the deciding set?
In case of a 6-6 tie in the deciding set, a Tie-Break will be played to determine the winner.
Can I change my teammate after the tournament has started?
Teammates cannot be changed after the tournament has started, except in exceptional cases approved by the organizing committee.
Can I withdraw after registering?
You can withdraw before the tournament starts, but the registration fee may not be refunded according to the stated terms and conditions.
Will rackets and balls be provided for playing?
The official balls will be provided by the organizing committee, but players are required to bring their own rackets.
Will the matches be broadcast online?
Some matches may be broadcast live online or on the tournament’s social media channels, and the details will be announced later.
Are there prizes for the winners?
Yes, prizes will be awarded to the winners of the top positions, which may include cash prizes, medals, and tournament trophies.
What happens if one of the teams is late for the match?
If a team is more than 10 minutes late for the match, the organizing committee has the right to consider them as withdrawn, and the other team will win the match.
How can I file a protest against a referee's decision?
A formal protest can be submitted to the organizing committee immediately after the match, provided it includes a clear explanation and evidence if possible. The committee’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
