Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms:
- The tournament is open to all age groups and skill levels.
- Registration is done through the official website or the organizing entity before the specified deadline.
- All players must adhere to sportsmanship and respect the rules and instructions given by referees and organizers.
- Players must arrive on time for their matches. A delay of more than 10 minutes may result in disqualification.
2. Tournament Format:
- The tournament is played in a knockout format, meaning the losing team is immediately eliminated.
- The tournament starts from the round of 32 or 16 (depending on the number of participants), with the winners advancing to the next rounds until the final.
- Matches are played according to the International Padel Federation (FIP) rules.
3. Match Rules:
- Matches are played in a Best of 3 Sets format.
- In case of a 1-1 tie, a deciding set will be played with a Tie-Break rule applied at 6-6.
- Points are counted according to traditional tennis scoring (15-30-40-Game).
- Only rackets and balls approved by the organizing committee are to be used.
4. Refereeing and Protests:
- A main referee is assigned to each match, and their decisions are final and cannot be contested.
- If there is a protest, it must be submitted to the organizing committee immediately after the match, along with a clear explanation and any available evidence.
5. Prizes and Rewards:
- Financial or in-kind prizes will be awarded to the winners of the first and second places in each category.
- The first-place team will receive the tournament trophy, medals, and the prescribed financial and in-kind rewards.
- Additional awards may be given to the best player or the most outstanding player in the tournament.
6. Behavior and Discipline:
- The use of inappropriate language or unsportsmanlike behavior is prohibited, and disciplinary action will be taken against violators.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to exclude any player or team for violating the rules or engaging in inappropriate behavior.
7. Player Injuries:
- In case of injury, the player is allowed a timeout for treatment not exceeding 5 minutes. The referee will decide if the player is fit to continue the match.
- If the player is unable to continue, the team will be considered withdrawn, and the match will be awarded to the other team.
8. Broadcasting and Filming Rights:
- The organizing committee has the right to film matches and publish footage on media and social media channels.
- By registering in the tournament, the player implicitly agrees to the use of their images or videos for promotional purposes.
9. Other Provisions:
- The organizing committee reserves the right to modify or change any of the terms for the benefit of the tournament.
- In case of situations not covered by these terms, the organizing committee has the right to make the appropriate decision.
